Sandy Angle - Artist

Sandy was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) in 1981. Her creative energies have taken her in several different directions over the years including ceramics, photography, and wire and paper art. After taking jewelry courses at ACAD, she was inspired to make jewelry design the focus of her creative energies.

DESIGNER JEWELRY

In 2004 she opened "Stillwater Design Studio." The studio is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Redwood Meadows, Alberta. Many of her designs are contemporary and organic in nature, reflecting the natural world around her. She prefers to work with sterling silver, often incorporating semi-precious stones and lamp work glass into her designs.

You can visit her studio in Bragg Creek by appointment as well as see her designs at one of the many shows she participates in throughout the year.  For 2012, she is looking forward to participating in many local art shows and festivals including The Calgary Woman's Show, the 4th Street Lilac Festival, the Kensington Sun and Salsa Festival, Inglewood's Sunfest, the Airdrie Christmas Show, Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market as well as her monthly shows in the Trans Canada Pipeline Tower + 15.
